I'm in LA for the summer working as an intern at a great studio. I am loving all of the projects I am working on. Hopefully I will be able to mention what I have touched, but until then here is a concept drawing for next year. I am struggling with making my film's character not look like Remy. Silly Pixar and their ability to beat me to appealing designs.

Hello everyone.  As promised, it would be a while until this post because of the ever-so time consuming film. This lovely picture is ripped from the pages of the film.  It is called Just Deserts and stars Russell, an individual who lives his life eating nothing but sweets until entering a fantasy world of sweets gives him a new perception of life.. i guess.  It is due on the 17th, aka 1 week away.  We still have load of work to do but what is done is looking nice.

Other stuff!  I have a Co-op now but I am going to hold off on giving any information about that until I have got a bit more details tied down.  What I can say is that it is going to be an exciting and entirely new experience in a place I could never have imagined traveling.

As far as the pre-production on the film for next year.  There has been no progress, but I have a NEW concept and want to post something soon (and will pretty much have to as I pitch it in a week) because I treasure it much more than my old one.  It is a bigger task but what is life without a few challenges.

It is rare that I have a life drawing that I am so happy with that I can post it.  I truly surprised myself in class today when I busted out this costumed number.

The film is coming along well and I am hoping that we finish at our April 17th deadline.  We are in rough animation and some of our background are painted.  Hopefully I can post it shortly after but the film may have to deal with a festival run if we are lucky.

Overall a lot is going on. Co-op applications, Film, Pre-production on Solo-film for next year and classes.  I will try and post something cool soon.
