The Last of the Almighty Nine

Today I unfortunately heard great animator Ollie Johnston passed away at 95. He was one of the 9 Old men who really turned Disney and classical and feature animation into what it truly became. Many of the great animators of today learned most of what they know from these greats and it must have been an honor and privilege to work hand in hand with these fine gentlemen. Ollie was one of my personal favorites of these greats and it is personally upsetting to see him pass.

Layout Painting and "Cop-out"

My layout painted in Photoshop with a graphic approach, and the tonal study for layout class (ie. "desaturate") and I am one step closer to finishing year 2.
